Motorcycle Apparel Cover
Motorcycle apparel cover is covered when it is accidentally damaged as a result of an incident giving rise to a claim.
There is no additional cost to include your riding gear and helmet. You and your pillion can claim up to $4000 per incident and $2000 per item. (refer to the PDS for full details)
Replacement Bike Cover
If your motorcycle is written off in the first two years, we’ll replace it with a new motorcycle of the same make, model or series when readily and locally available or pay out the sum insured.
Agreed Value / Market Value
You can decide which type of cover suits you best. Agreed Value and Market Value policy types are available for most bikes. (Some conditions apply).
Choice is the main benefit here. Most riders prefer one or the other, both cover types offer great value.
- Agreed Value provides peace of mind of knowing exactly what you'll receive in the event of a total loss.
- Market Value means you will receive the true value of your bike at the time your bike is written off. You don't have to predict the value of your bike at some future date.
Club Membership Discount
We recognise that some Clubs are safety conscious and have a great culture, which assists us to identify good riders. We offer members of these clubs a reduced premium.
If you are a member of one of the following clubs, you will receive a discounted premium;

- Honda Riders Club of Australia (HRCA)
- Riders Association of Triumph (RAT)

High Usage
We also recognise that some riders only have one form of transport and use their bike every day, which is fine with us.
Unlike some other insurers, we're flexible and welcome high usage riders.
Flexible Excesses
We allow you to reduce your standard excess or you can increase your standard excess
You determine the premium & excess that suits you. Your standard excess will range from $500 to $600 depending on the model of your bike. You can increase or decrease your excess in $50 steps to ensure you get the policy and price that suits you best. The premium decreases as the excess increases and vice versa.
Emergency Accommodation & Transport Costs
Riding bikes often means riding long distances; this benefit provides extra assistance to pay for emergency travel & accommodation costs.
You will receive up to $500 for emergency accommodation if you have an incident that leaves you stranded more than 100kms from home.
Travel Expenses
If your bike can't be ridden following an incident, we'll reimburse you up to $100 to help the rider of your bike and any pillion riders get to their destination.
Being involved in an incident usually involves some cost to you. Costs incurred by you to get to your destination will be reimbursed, thereby ensuring costs to you are minimised.
Essential Temporary Repairs
We will pay up to $500 for essential temporary repairs to allow your bike to be ridden after an incident.
You are the person on the spot following an incident and we allow you to decide if some temporary repairs will get you on your way. If so, you are authorised to spend up to $500.
Removal & Storage Costs
If your bike is damaged we will pay reasonable costs to move it the nearest repairer or place of safety.
You need to protect your bike after an incident and reasonable costs associated with removing it from the scene is covered by us. There is no maximum cost specified as reasonable cost may vary depending on the time and place of the incident.
Delivery Costs
If you live over 100kms from the place where we authorise your repairs, we will pay reasonable re-delivery costs to a limit of $500.
Riding bikes often means riding long distances; if you have an incident a long way from home, we repair your bike and deliver it to you once the repairs are complete at no cost to you.
There are benefits you may not be aware of;
- Hire vehicle following a theft (up to 14 days)
- Hire vehicle after not-at-fault bike accident
- Trailer cover on Comprehensive policies (up to $750)
- Theft of your bike keys (up to $1500)
